Batch Job Retry Defaults

Field Description
Number of Retries

Enter the desired number of retry attempts before the process or report fails. Enter zero to disable this feature.

Retry Period

Enter the number of minutes that you want to elapse before again trying to run the process or report.

Licensing Email ID

Use this field to enter the email ID that you want to use for issues related to Costpoint licensing.

Enable AutoComplete

Select this check box to enable the autocomplete feature for fields that have options. Whenever you enter a value (for example, user ID, buyer name, and vendor address) in a field, autocomplete displays suggested values that you can select and use for that field. For example, when you enter "AI" in a User ID field, autocomplete displays a list of user IDs that start with "AI." You can then select one of those suggested values for the User ID field.

Enable Hey Deltek! Select this check box to give all Costpoint users the option to use Hey Deltek! voice interaction to enter information into Costpoint. This feature is enabled by default. Clear the check box to turn off Hey Deltek!. When this check box is not selected, users cannot edit the setting in Configure User Preferences.
Note: Hey Deltek! is supported on Chrome, Windows, and Android operating systems.
Allow Offline Access Select this check box to enable the download of Costpoint data and allow users to work in Costpoint without an internet connection. This setting is disabled, by default.
If you enable offline access, select the applications that can go offline using the Offline Access Applications subtask.
Allow Collection of Usage Statistics Select this checkbox to turn on data sharing and enable Costpoint's In-App Guidance that highlights new features and provides personalized tips and suggestions to improve your use of Costpoint.
Use Auto Position mode
Select this check box to make the auto positioning mode a default mode for all users. When auto positioning is on:
  • Automatically increases the font on large monitors if space is available.
  • Applies the best use of space on screen.
  • Applies a two-column layout.
  • Expands the header record to full screen when the screen is maximized.

This setting is on by default. Override this setting for users in Manage Users. Users can set their default setting in Configure User Preferences.

Enforce Segregation of Duties Rules

Select this check box to have the system enforce segregation of duties rules. If you select this check box, Costpoint checks for conflicting rights set up on the Manage Users and Manage User Groups screens.
