Contents of the Manage Project Org Based Security Screen
Use this screen to manage the types of rights, such as to reporting or creating and approving budgets, that users have for specific projects.

Note: By default, users are given rights to all options. Therefore, access is controlled by removing rights.
By default,
| Field | Description |

| Project | Click
 to select the Project ID, and then click
 to populate the table window.

| User ID | Use this field if you want to modify rights for a specific user. Enter the ID or click
to select it from Lookup.
|
| Project Level | This field displays the level of the selected project ID within the project structure. |
Project Org Based Security
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Project | This field displays selected project ID. |
| Project Name | This field displays the name of the selected project. |
| User ID | This field displays the ID. |
| User Name | This field displays the name associated with the user ID. |
| Reporting | This checkbox is selected by default. Clear the box if you do not want the user to have rights to any reports associated with the selected project. |
| Creating | This checkbox is selected by default. Clear the box if you do not want the selected user to have rights to create project or org budgets for the selected project.
Note: This field does not display if the
Project Security to be based on setting on the Projects tab of the Configuration Settings screen is selected
Project Budget Security.

| Approving | This checkbox is selected by default. Clear the box if you do not want the selected user to have rights to approve project or org budgets for the selected project.

| Modified By | This field displays the name of the user who modified the rights for the selected user. |
