The owning organization of the project automatically displays in the organization field of all data entry screens if the Default to Owning Organization check box is selected. Use this check box to expedite the data entry process. 

You can change the organization after the default is displayed in any of the data entry screens. If you leave the Default to Owning Organization check box cleared, no default occurs for the Organization field in the data entry screens and an organization must be entered.
