Line Details Subtask

Use this subtask to specify the line type and group heading that will display on the report.

Field Description
Line Type

Enter, or click to select, a valid line type. Valid options are:

  • HOURS: Select this option when you want hours to appear on the report printout. The report line total includes all of the accounts that are linked to it.
  • COST: Select this option when you want dollars to appear on the report printout. The report line total includes all of the accounts that are linked to it.
Group Subtotal Heading

Enter the group heading that you want to appear on the report printout. All consecutive lines in this table with the same group subtotal heading are subtotaled on the report.

Line Heading

Enter the line heading that you want to appear on the report.

Note: You may find it helpful to set up a line called "Miscellaneous" or "Other" and leave the table in the Accounts subtask blank. (Access the Accounts subtask by clicking the Link Accounts link.) This enables you to capture any project accounts that were not linked.
