  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Manage Projects for Export Screen

Use the fields and options to configure the Manage Projects for Export screen.

Table Window

Use this table to select and flag existing Costpoint projects as Time Collection projects, Expense projects, or Time & Expense projects, or as projects that should not be exported.

When you initialize the screen, the table window in this group box displays all projects from the Manage Project User Flow. After you highlight project rows, you can select the appropriate Export Project Value from the drop-down list and click the Assign Export Project Value button to assign the selected value to multiple projects. You can also assign export project values to each project using the Export Project column in the table.

Field Description
Project

This column displays the project ID.

Project Name

This column displays the project name.

Deltek Time and Expense Export Type

From the drop-down list, select the export project value of each project. Its contents depend on the Time Collection version selected on the Corporate Labor Settings subtask of the Configure Labor Settings screen and the licensing for Deltek Time & Expense. If you are licensed for both Deltek Time and Deltek Expense, valid options are:

  • Expense Project: Select this option to assign an export project type of Expense Project to the selected projects. Projects flagged as Expense projects are exported to Deltek Time & Expense and used in expense transactions. You cannot use the project in any Deltek Time timesheet transactions. This option is available only if you are licensed for Deltek Expense.
  • Time & Expense Project: Select this option to assign an export project type of Time & Expense Project to the selected projects. Projects flagged as Time & Expense projects are exported to Deltek Time & Expense and used in both expense and timesheet transactions. This option is available only if you are licensed for Deltek Expense.
  • Time Collection Project: Select this option to assign an export project type of Time Collection Project to the selected projects. Projects flagged as Time Collection projects are exported to Deltek Time & Expense and used in timesheet entry. You cannot use the project in any Deltek Expense transactions.
  • None: Select this option to assign an export project type of Not Applicable to the selected projects. Projects flagged as not applicable are not exported to Deltek Time & Expense.

You can either assign an export project value to each project using this drop-down list or you can assign export project values to multiple projects using the Deltek Time and Expense Export Type drop-down list in the Mass Update Projects section

Export to Shop Floor Time Select this checkbox if this project will be used in Shop Floor Time. This check box is available if you have a Shop Floor Time license.
Allow Edit (Export to Shop Floor Time) Select this checkbox to enable edits of the Export to Shop Floor Time option at this project's lower-level tasks. This check box is available if you have a Shop Floor Time license.
Export to Manufacturing Execution Select this checkbox if this project will be used in Manufacturing Execution. This check box is available if you have a Manufacturing Execution license.
Allow Edit (Export to Manufacturing Execution) Select this checkbox to enable edits of the Export to Manufacturing Execution option at this project's lower-level tasks. This check box is available if you have a Manufacturing Execution license.

Field Description
Deltek Time and Expense Export Type

From the drop-down list, select the export project type options. Its contents depend on the Time Collection version selected on the Configure Labor Settings screen and the licensing for Deltek Time & Expense. If you are licensed for both Deltek Time and Deltek Expense, the following four options display:

  • Expense Project: Select this option to assign an export project type of Expense Project to the selected projects. Projects flagged as Expense projects are exported to Deltek Time & Expense and used in expense transactions. You cannot use the project in any Deltek Time timesheet transactions. This option is available only if you are licensed for Deltek Expense.
  • Time & Expense Project: Select this option to assign an export project type of Time & Expense Project to the selected projects. Projects flagged as Time & Expense projects are exported to Deltek Time & Expense and used in both expense and timesheet transactions. This option is available only if you are licensed for Deltek Expense.
  • Time Collection Project: Select this option to assign an export project type of Time Collection Project to the selected projects. Projects flagged as Time Collection projects are exported to Deltek Time & Expense and used in timesheet entry. You cannot use the project in any Deltek Expense transactions.
  • None: Select this option to assign an export project type of Not Applicable to the selected projects. Projects flagged as not applicable are not exported to Deltek Time & Expense.
Assign

Click this button to assign the selected export project value to the highlighted projects.

Export to Shop Floor Time
These options are available if you have a Shop Floor Time license.
  • Check: Click this button to select the Export to Shop Floor Time checkbox for the selected projects.
  • Uncheck: Click this button to clear the Export to Shop Floor Time checkbox for the selected projects.
Export to Manufacturing Execution
These options are available if you have a Manufacturing Execution license.
  • Check: Click this button to select the Export to Manufacturing Execution checkbox for the selected projects.
  • Uncheck: Click this button to clear the Export to Manufacturing Execution checkbox for the selected projects.
