Use the fields and options to configure the Manage Deferred Compensation Deductions screen.

This table displays all the existing deferred compensation deduction codes that are linked to deferred compensation plans. You can modify the list of deduction codes and the associated information as necessary. Click

Fully Vested |
From the drop-down list, select Yes or No to indicate if deduction code you select is a company code and is fully vested to the employee when granted. Fully vested refers to the lack of a waiting period or vesting schedule. Select No for contributions that are tied to a vesting schedule and select You can have several contributions of each type (fully vested or not fully vested) linked to one plan code. |
Deduction Source Code |
Enter a one-character code that identifies the source of this deduction. This field is required if the Financial Institution, such as Vanguard, requires it and the Deduction option on the Manage Deductions screen is selected. Some financial institutions use this code to identify whether this deduction is pre-tax, after-tax, employer matched, and so on. |
Contribution Source Code |
Enter a one-character code that identifies the source of this contribution. This field is required if the Financial Institution, such as Vanguard, requires it (on the Manage Deferred Compensation Plans screen) and the Contribution option on the Manage Deductions screen is selected. Note: The Deduction Source Code and Contribution Source Code must match the requirements of your Financial Institution. Financial Institutions are system-defined in Costpoint.
