Status and Product Access tab

Use this tab to set up if offboarding process should update the employee's status to Inactive on the Manage Employee Information screen.

You can also specify whether the Costpoint User assigned to the employee should be deactivated and the date on which this deactivation should occur.

Field Description
Set Employee Status to 'Inactive'

Select this checkbox to set the terminated employee's status to Inactive on the Manage Employee Information screen when the Offboard Configuration is processed on the Offboard Employees screen.

Deactivate Costpoint user account

Select this checkbox to deactivate the Costpoint User ID linked to the terminated employee on the Manage Users screen when the Offboard Configuration is processed on the Offboard Employees screen. If you select this checkbox, you must specify the Deactivation Method for this Offboard Configuration.

Deactivation Method

Select the method to be used when determining the deactivation date for the Costpoint user. After the offboard process is run, terminated employees will not be able to access Costpoint as of the assigned Deactivation Date. Options are:

  • On termination date: If you select this option, the terminated employee will not be able to access Costpoint via their user account on and after their termination date.
  • Day after termination date: If you select this option, the terminated employee will not be able to access Costpoint via their user account on and after the day after their termination date.
  • Indicate the deactivation date during the offboard process: If you select this option, you will be prompted to enter a deactivation date when setting up the Offboard Employee process parameters.
  • Not applicable: This option is selected by default.
