Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Manage EC Impacted Functional Groups Screen

Use the fields and options to configure the Manage EC Impacted Functional Groups screen.

Field Description
Impacted Group

Enter a unique ID the group that may be affected by the engineering changes. The first character cannot be a space.

Group Name

Enter a name for the group that may be affected by the engineering changes.

Workflow Role

Enter, or click to select, the workflow role of users that you want to notify for this group.

Workflow Notify - ECN Create

Select this check box to have group users notified through workflow if an ECN is created or submitted.

Workflow Notify - ECN Approval

Select this check box to have group users notified through workflow if an ECN is approved.

Workflow Notify - Customer Approval

Select this check box to have group users notified through workflow if an ECN is customer approved.

Workflow Notify - ECN Implementation

Select this check box to have group users notified through workflow if an ECN is implemented.

Workflow Notify - ECN Rejection

Select this check box to have group users notified through workflow if an ECN is rejected.

Impacted Group Users

Field Description
User

Enter, or click to select, the Costpoint user ID for this impacted functional group. The value in this field must be a valid user ID from the Manage Users screen in Costpoint System Administration.

User Name

Enter, or click to select, the name of the Costpoint user for this impacted functional group.

Employee

Enter, or click to select, the employee ID of the person linked to the group. The value you enter in this field must be a valid employee ID from the Manage Employee Information screen in Costpoint Employee.

Employee Name

This field displays the name of the employee whose ID was entered above.

Workflow Notify

Select this check box if you want to have this user notified through Costpoint Workflow of ECN events. If you select this field, you must select at least one of the Workflow Notify fields for the impacted group.

Active

Select this check box to have this user considered as an active group member.

Title

This field displays the employee's title.

Phone

This field displays the employee's telephone number.

Extension

This field displays the extension of employee's telephone number.
