Contents of the Budget/EACs Status Screen

Use this screen to review the status of budgets and EACs that have been created at various levels of a project.

The report on this screen displays the final versions of top-level budget/EAC statuses for all projects. You can filter the report by Project Manager, Contract Type, End Date, Report Type, and Budget Type.

Field Description
End Date

Enter the end date or click to filter the report according to project end date.

Budget Type

Select one of the following from the drop-down list:

  • Budget: Select this option to display the budget information.
  • EAC: Select this option to display the EAC information.
Note: EAC displays in the drop-down list only if an EAC exists for the project.
Report Type Select the type of report you want to display. Choose from the following options:
  • Cost: Select this option to display labor hours charged to the selected project for the last seven accounting periods.
  • Revenue: Select this option to display labor hours budgeted to the selected project for the last seven accounting periods, or if you are viewing future budgets, for the next seven periods.
Include Expired

Select this option to include expired tasks or projects.

Field Description
Manager

Enter the name or click to filter the report according to Project Manager.

Contract Type

Enter the type of contract or click  to filter the report according to Contract Type.

Subtasks

Click on the toolbar to populate the Budget/EAC Details table. The table will populate even if you did not select any report filter like Project Manager, Contract Type or End Date.

The table below describes the columns that display for all levels of detail.

Column Headings Description
Project This column displays the Project ID.
Bud/EAC This column displays the budget type if Budget or EAC.
Version This column displays the version number and version code of a project budget/EAC.
Project Title This column displays the title of the project.
Project Manager This column displays the name of the Project Manager.
Contract Type This column displays the contract type.
Status This column displays the status example: No Budget.
Modifier This column displays the name of the user who did the most recent change.
Last Modified This column displays the date of the most recent change.
Approver This column displays the name of the approver.
Approval Date This column displays the approval date.
Contract Start This column displays the contract start date.
Contract End This column displays the contract end date.
PDS Remaining This column displays the number of remaining periods left.
Funding This column displays the Funding amount.
Unplanned This column displays the Unplanned amount.
Planned This column displays the Planned amount.
Note: Click the execute button every time you change a filter to refresh the grid with the latest data.
