Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Project Cost Chart Screen

Use this screen to generate a chart that displays Cost History, Future Budgeted Cost, and Variance History for the selected project.

Field Description
Parameter ID

Enter the Parameter ID in this field.

Note: If you do not have any parameters saved, you can go directly to the Project ID field and enter the details to populate the form.
Description

Use this field to view the brief description of the Parameter ID.

Parameters

Field Description
Report Type

Select the type of report you want to display. Choose from the following options:

  • Cost: Select this option to display cost history for the selected project. For this report type, the left axis of the chart and line graph compares costs (blue) to funding (green). The right axis and bar graph displays total burdened costs for that past 7 accounting periods.
  • Budget: Select this option to display future budgeted cost for the selected project. For this report type, the left axis of the chart and line graph compares budget (blue) to Funding (green). The right axis and bar graph displays total burdened budget for the next 7 future accounting periods.
  • Variance: Select this option to display variance history for the selected project. For this report type, the left axis and line graph compares the cumulative variance for Labor and Total Costs. The right axis and bar graph displays total variance for the past 7 accounting periods.
Budget Type

If you selected the Budget or Variance Type, select one of the following from the drop-down list:

  • Budget: Select this option to display the budget information.
  • EAC: Select this option to display the EAC information.  
Note: EAC displays in the drop-down list only if an EAC exists for the project.
Project ID

Enter the Project ID number in this field. Use the search icon to display the Project ID Table where you can select from all the ID numbers that you are allowed to view based on the your security org ID.

Note: Click Preview from the toolbar to view the report/chart. The title displays the company name, report title and report type. You can also view the details using the table below the chart.
