Contents of the Labor Hours Analysis Screen

Use this screen to display actual or budgeted labor hours, or variances thereof, by employee for all projects you are authorized to view.

The report both summarizes hours and breaks them down by labor type (for example, direct labor, leave, overhead, bonuses, and so forth.)

Note: You must provide information for all enabled fields in order for the report to run as expected, else an error message displays.

Report Parameters

Field Description
Report Type

Select the type of report you want to display. Choose from the following options:

  • Cost: Select this option to display actual labor hours.
  • Budget: Select this option to display budgeted labor hours.
  • Variance: Select this option to display variances of actual and budgeted labor hours.
Labor Type

Under Labor Type, choose from the following options:

  • Direct: Select this option to display direct labor hours.
  • Indirect: Select this option to display indirect labor hours.
FY

Click to select the fiscal year.

End Date

Click to select the end date.

Org Type

If you selected a Report Type of Budget or Variance, choose from the following organization types:

  • Pool: Select this option to filter the Organization Type by pool.
  • Home: Select this option to filter the Organization Type according to home organization.
Budget Group

If you selected the Budget or Variance report type, click to select either the base budget or latest updated forecasts.

Org ID

Click to select the organization ID. The name of the organization displays in the next field.

Details

Choose the level of detail you want to display. Choose from the following options:

  • View Qtrs: Select this option to display report information by quarter.
  • Combined: Select this option to combine all levels of report details for viewing or printing.
Audit Sub-Report

This section displays if Report Type is selected as Budget. Select Combined to combine all levels of detail for viewing or printing, when you select the Audit subtask.

Include Inactive Resources

Select this checkbox to include inactive resources in the report, or clear the checkbox to exclude them from it.

When the checkbox is clear, inactive resources are fully excluded only if the respective termination dates precede the selected reporting period.

If termination dates overlap with the reporting period, inactive resources are still included, but labor details display only through those periods that contain the respective termination dates, not in any periods following those dates.

When termination dates are later than the reporting period, labor details, where found, are included in all periods of the report even if the checkbox is clear.
Note: Termination dates for inactive resources also display in report results.

After you select the Org ID and set other options, click Details to display lower level details for the selected account.
