Contents of the Budget/Outlook Resource Schedule Screen

For each report type, the labor resources are summarized at the Org level. The employees listed are those whose home Org is within the selected Org.

The data in this report are pulled from the summary of all Project Budgets and/or EACs to which these employees are assigned in the budget year.

The report in this screen initially displays a summary of budgeted hours by Organization, then by Employee within each Org. By expanding an Employee summary line, hours budgeted by Project are shown.

Report Parameters

Field Description
Report Type

Select the type of report you want to display. Choose from the following options:

  • Hours: Select this option to display the allocation of labor resources by date range.
  • Cost: Select this option to display revenue and expenses. The data in this report are pulled from the summary of all Project Budgets and/or EACs to which these employees are assigned in the budget year. Columns include Total hours and hours by Accounting Sub-Period for the fiscal year.
  • Rolling Year: Select this check box to display the allocation of labor resources by budget for a rolling 12-month period.
Organization Type

Choose from the following Organization Types:

  • Performing Org: Select this option to filter the Organization Type according to Performing Organization. Performing organization is the organization that is primarily carrying out the project work and is responsible for the project management activities.
  • Employee Org: Select this option to filter the Organization Type. according to Employee Organization.
Period

  • Fiscal Yr: This option displays if Hours is selected as the report type. Click to select the year.
  • Start Date: This option displays if Cost is selected as the report type, or if Hours is selected in conjunction with Rolling Year. Click to select the date.
Combined

Select this check box to combine all levels of report information for viewing or printing.

Org ID

Click to select the organization ID. The name of the organization displays in the next field.

Report By

Use the drop-down menu to run the report by Organization or by Reorganization.

Subtasks

After you select the Org ID and set other report options, click to populate the Details subtask grid.

The table below describes the columns that display for Details table.

Column Headings Description
Description This column displays the organization ID and organization name. When you expand the rows, the project name, budget type (NB, BUD, or EAC), and budget version also display.
YTD This column displays the resource schedule details by Year to Date.

The table below describes the columns that display for Details table when the report is run the Combined selected.

Column Headings Description
Report Org ID This column displays the reporting organization ID.
Report Year This column displays the fiscal year.
Report Type This column displays the report type.
Name This column displays the resource name.
ID This column displays the resource ID.
Org ID This column displays the organization ID.
Org Name This column displays the organization name.
Project ID This column displays the project ID.
Project Name This column displays the project name.
Bgt Type This column displays the budget type.
Bgt Year This column displays the budget fiscal year.
Program Desc This column displays the program name that is associated with the budget.
Bgt Org ID This column displays the budget organization ID.
Bgt Ver This column displays the budget version.
BGT LCP This column displays the budget last closed period (LCP).
Total This column displays the total amounts.
Month/Year These columns display the details for the budget periods.
