Component Substitute Parts Subtask
Use this subtask to view the substitute parts information for a selected component.
You can assign substitute part information to the component part in the Manage Parts screen in Costpoint Product Definition.

Table Window
This table window lists all substitute parts for the component part.

This field displays the sequence in the order of preference. |
| Substitute Part |
This field displays the identification code of the substitute part that can be exchanged for this component. |
| Rev |
This field displays the substitute part revision. |
| Interchangeable |
This field displays Y (Yes) if the substitute part is completely interchangeable with the component part. Otherwise, this field displays N (No). |

This field displays the substitute part description. |
| U/M |
This field displays the unit of measure of the substitute part. |
| M/B |
This field displays the M (Make) if the substitute part is manufactured or B (Buy) if it is purchased. |
