Prospective Vendor Email Settings Tab

Use this tab of the Configure Vendor Settings screen to manage and set up your email notification settings for prospective vendors.

Note: For Costpoint Cloud, you can choose to opt in to this feature for the Costpoint 2025.2 release. The ability to opt in is temporary and will be removed when the feature becomes automatically enabled for all users as part of a future Costpoint release. See the Manage Opt-In Features topic for more information.
Field Description
Allow Sending of Vendor Notifications

Select this checkbox to allow sending of an email notification to a prospective vendor contact upon approval or rejection.

When you select this checkbox, the Allow to receive Email Notification, Send Email Notification, and Email Message fields display on the Approve Prospective Vendors (APMPRVENDA/CTMVENDA) screen.

Allow Editing of Email message in the Approvals screens

Select this checkbox to allow modifications to the contents of the Email Message field on the Approve Prospective Vendors (APMPRVENDA/CTMVENDA) screen.

This checkbox is enabled only if you select the Allow Sending of Vendor Notifications checkbox.

Approved Email Template

Use this field to set up a default email message when a prospective vendor is approved.

You must enter a value in this field if you selected Allow Sending of Vendor Notifications but left Allow Editing of Email message in the Approval screens cleared.

Rejected Email Template

Use this field to set up a default email message when a prospective vendor is rejected.

You must enter a value in this field if you selected Allow Sending of Vendor Notifications but left Allow Editing of Email message in the Approval screens cleared.
