EBOM Assy Subtask

This subtask displays all assembly parts in which the provisional part (which is listed as a component part in the table window of the Manage Engineering Bills of Material screen) is used as a component in an unreleased Engineering Bill of Material (EBOM) assembly.

Only single-level BOM explosions from the Manage Engineering Bills of Material screen are shown for the assembly part.

Field Description
Assy Part

This field displays the assembly part from the Manage Engineering Bills of Material screen in which the provisional part is used as a component.

Assy Rev

This field displays the assembly part revision, if applicable, from the Manage Engineering Bills of Material screen in which the provisional part is used as a component.

Provisional

This field displays Y (Yes) if the assembly part is established as a provisional part, or N (No) if not.

Assy Part Desc

This field displays the description of the assembly part from the main screen.

Assy Latest Rev

This field displays the highest (most recent) revision number for the assembly part.

Quantity Per

This field displays the quantity of the provisional component part required for the EBOM assembly.

Line No

This field displays the line number of the provisional component part in this EBOM.

Find No

This field displays the find number of the provisional component part in this EBOM.

Comp Type

This field displays the component type code for the provisional component part in this EBOM:

  • B: Buy w/Comp
  • S: Standard
  • P: Phantom
  • R: Reference
  • T: Tool
  • D: Deleted
Comp Rel

This field displays Y (Yes) if this provisional component part is released in this EBOM.

Comp M/B

This field displays M if the provisional component part is a make part, or B if it is a buy part in this EBOM.

Config

This fields displays the configuration ID for the component line if it is entered on the Manage Engineering Bills of Material screen.

Config Desc

This field displays the description of the configuration ID for the component line if it is entered on the Manage Engineering Bills of Material screen.

Eff End Dt

This field displays the date when the provisional/component part ceases being effective on the EBOM component line.

Eff Start Dt

This field displays the date when the provisional/component part takes effect in the EBOM component line.

Comp Notes

This field displays any notes or comments associated with the component from the Manage Engineering Bills of Material screen.
