Substitute Parts Subtask
Use the Substitute Parts subtask to view the substitute part information for a selected component.
This subtask is disabled if the selected component part row is a provisional part.
Establish and maintain component substitute parts on the Manage Parts screen.

| Proposal, Rev |
These fields display the proposal ID, revision (if applicable), and proposal description from the main screen. |
| Part, Rev, U/M, Make/Buy |
These fields display the part ID, revision (if applicable), make/buy status (M or B), part description, and part unit of measure. The values in these fields come from the main screen, and are established on the Manage Parts screen. |
Substitute Parts
This table window displays the substitute part information for the selected component part on the main screen.

This field displays the sequence in order of preference. |
| Substitute Part |
This field displays the substitute part that can be exchanged for this component. |
| Rev |
This field displays the revision of the substitute part. |
| Description |
This field displays the description of the substitute part. |
| Interchangeable |
This field displays Y or N to indicate whether or not this substitute is completely interchangeable with the specified component. |
